Can you introduce new units?

Is it possible to introduce new units into CM. As I have never found any I am assuming it is not supported. Why I ask is I found some information about a Italian Tank that was built just as Italy surrendered. It was the Carro Pesante P26/40 to the Italians and known as the Panzerkampfwagen P40 737(i) in the German arsenal. Only 100 or so were ever built and some may have seen action at Anzio and they were apparently comparable to the M4 Sherman. I just thought it would be cool if one could introduce new (and real no fantasy) vehicles.

You know for those what if scenarios, what if Italy actually were able to pump a few more of these out, it wouldn’t have changed anything but like the US Pershing tank (Which I don’t think it actually saw any action but made it to Europe in time for the big V-E). I have been curious about Italian Armour ever since I got the old Avalon Hill game Tobruk (Lost it in one of many moves).

All vehicles are hard-coded into the game. You cannot add any more unless you hack the code (which would be frowned on, even if you could). You'd then have to create the vehicle with wire-drawings, skins, etc.

Pershings saw actual combat starting in March 1945. I take it you've never seen the film of a Pershing and Panther stalking each other in Cologne, Germany? Pretty common on various documentaries on the History Channel.

The Pershing is not included in CMAK because none were sent to Italy.
