Bayes
Hi! I have both a VISTA and XP installation of Theater of War on two different machines. On both machines, I get an error message when trying to start the Battle Generator or Mission Campaign Editor: Do not support environment name nn Parameter name: name Any proposals? DOBERmann
hi bayes , think u have download and install the uberpatch and maybe the download was not 100% ok . better u download the uberpatch again !
Bayes
I downloaded the uber patch from Filefronter instead, and installed that version. But it did not help. Perhaps I should try to uninstall Theater of War and reinstall it. But what then with the license?
Bayes
I did a clean install fom my DVD, but that did not help either. Since I have installed ToW on two completely different systems, and get the same error message: Unknown culture variable: nb I guess it could be caused by my Norwegian version of Windows. In fact nb is the code for my Norwegian Windows version. Has anyone experienced similar problems?
eviltwin
I've got the same problem, tho I'm running vista 64bit and iirc it's not supported. Mission generator gives a wrong version error #3000 or something similar.
fuhrershih
I've got the same problem. Do not support environment name "zh" Parameter name: name It looks like both programs can only run on English base Operating System, other language system like my traditional Chinese VISTA OS would out of luck. I hope Battlefront and 1C can fix this problem.
Bayes
BTW. I have fixed the problem. I changed the Regional Settings in Windows to USA instead of Norway!
