I've got the same problem, tho I'm running vista 64bit and iirc it's not supported. Mission generator gives a wrong version error #3000 or something similar.

No but changing from 1680x1050 @ 59hz and between 60hz works too.

Yer that resolution change thing works for me too. I have to change resoution, go ingame, quit and then change back to 1680x1050 to play.

Let me guess You have 4gb of ram. I doubt its the gfx card cos everybody has 8800 cards nowadays and we wud be having more angry people here

Ok I will do that. Tho it crashes even if i try to load a single battle, so i doubt it is a issue with saves.

Doesent matter what mission i try to load it crashes.

I have the same problem with the downloaded version. After i chose my units and press start, the game quits to desktop from loading screen. The weirdest thing is that when i first installed this game it worked perfectly. Ps. I tried everything on your FAQ about loading screen crashes, but nothing helps
