Checkmate King 2 Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 I just finished playing a 1 on 1 dogfight as the British. I shot down both Japanese planes without receiving any damage however, I was given a minor defeat as the outcome. bartbert Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 It mainly has to do with the starting point values of the aircraft and pilots involved. If you start out with an advantage in aircraft and pilot quality, then shooting down the opposing aircraft is "expected", so you don't win a "victory" for doing what was expected. When you progress in value of your own pilot ( My best pilots value is around 1,100) if you even get damaged, its rated as a debacle, so learning defense is key to avoiding this. Also you shouldnt as much worry about how the results affect you. The only result that matters is keeping your stud up in the wild blue yonder.
