Mikel S
I have been looking at exsisting missions to figure out how to get my guys to stay put. I have worked up the missions in the editor. But when I go to play it, they are everywhere but where I want them. Sometimes even out of the deployment zones. Should I be using a placeholder command on each troop type, or do I have to do it by the individual man. It is getting really annoying. Over all, the editor is working great. Becoming fluent in it is going to take sometime. There are alot of features from IL2's mission builder, except the placement and rotation commands are off. Thanks in advance! SlapHappy
If you are making scenarios using the standard editor (not the battle generator) you must use placeholders to get the troops where you want them for the PLAYER side. If you do not use them you will get stranded units outside the deployment zones. Make sure you are using the proper TYPE of placeholder for your units as well, or you will still have problems.
