Doolittle81
I have a dual core CPU. Setup for TOW asks whether to use single or multi-core. I read some words about the 1.3 patch saying it does something new/good for multi-core. I read somewhere in the documentation for some game to NOT select multi-core option, but I can't now recall if that was for the "TOW Demo" or some other game/sim. Bottom line question: Should I select multi-core in the TOW Setup/options?
crazyman56
This should be in the tech support forum admin move?
crazyman56
But the answer is no you should select the run on 1 cpu as it will stop many errors.
R33GZ
You should only be able to select single cpu if you have a dual core? 2 cores on the one chipset?
Freeboy
both work on my two systems, one a amd fx 60 and one a conroe e6850.. go figure? setting for dual use on each.. so, my suggestion would be to test on some smaller scenarios
Hammer-n-Sickle
I've found that the dual core selection hurts frame rates on vista but if running XP there really is no difference that I can see
