Jaws Posted April 4, 2003 Share Posted April 4, 2003 I've got a notebook with Windows XP. It is a P 2.4, 512 RAM and a SiS M650 video card. When I play CMBB I can not see the 3d environment but I can see the taskbar?? Anyone got a tip how I can solve this problem?? B.t.w. Schrullenhaft Posted April 4, 2003 Share Posted April 4, 2003 Unfortunately the SiS 650 UMA video chipset isn't compatible with CMBB (it should work with CMBO). I believe the issue is that the texture bitmaps are too large for the SiS 650 drivers to handle. I don't believe that SiS will be able fix this issue with a newer set of drivers since there may be hardware as well as software limitations on supporting larger textures with the SiS 650 chip, so CMBB may remain unplayable on your laptop.
