wokelly Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 Gotta be careful with APCR rounds or APDS. Most conventional APCBC rounds in game have HE fillers, so if they penetration they do the most damage. Rounds like the APCR or APDS rounds in game have no he filler plus the actual shell that hits is smaller. For example the 17 pounder APDS shell with its casing was 76.2mm, but the part that actually penetrated was only 57mm. APCR rounds have only penetration, but nothing else, at least if they are modeled correctly. They are smaller then the proper rounds used for the gun and they have no post penetration effects besides spall. Given the facts, I would stick with the original rounds if they can do the job. APCR only if its really needed since they are rare and really it could potentially take more shots to kill the targets. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
