OLDTIMER Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 Hi been playing pc wargames since 1986 ssi games and many others you name it i've played it but i must say that this baby looks fantastic. Ive pre-ordered it but i think my rig might not run it anybody out there know if my amd 64 turion mobile 1.8 ghz will do the job. It's single core but i don't know how it compares with other processors ie pentium 4 or amd athalon. Dr.Jones Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 Turion processor should be ok, even if it single core, it wouldnt helped if it were dual core, this is depended of game engine, usually game's are implemented in single thread (at least main loop). I have Turion X2 (dual) and its fast machine, I can run old 3d games just fine (old because I have only integrated GPU X1150 from ATI). How fast it will run it's up to your graphics card. If is it integrated GPU (graphics), it will be very slow, if you have let say ATI X1600 or something like from NVIDIA (7600), it will probaly run ok.
