Hi all runnimg very well on my laptop with settings set to better options, no lag quite smooth very good frame rates. my spec: acer aspire 9301awsmi lap top Amd turion 64 mk36 2.0 ghz single core 512kb l2 cash nvidia geforce go 6100 256 meg video with very latest nvidia force ware drivers 2gb ddr2 ram resultion set to 1400 x 1900 wide screen lcd and also adjusting settings in the nvidia control panel to performance made it fly Regards OLDTIMER

Hi all again i don't know about you but all i want at the moment is some sort of a patch to enable me to run the game at a decent frame rate with all the graphic options on. that's my priority all the rest of the goody's im prepared to wait for. Poor old battlefront must realy have a job trying to fix the fps problems on different pc configurations or we would have heard by now or a a mini patch would have been released by now. In the past i have had no negative post's to add to this forum but this time i must say we realy need to know how are the technical problems coming along and what's been solved upto now. april the 18th has long gone since release so come on Madmatt/Moon what's happening best regards to all the getting old fast! Hi jackman try this go to nvidia 3d management options and work your way through the different settings try changing them to different modes. But make a note of what you changed it worked for me but iv'e forgot what option that i changed got the game to work that way on a nvidia gforce go 6100 348 meg video

Hi Rofl Same with me slows right down regardless even with all options to low or turned off About 2-3 fps. my spec: amd turion 64 2.0 ghz 2 gig ddr2 memory nvidia gforce 60 6100 384 meg video 17" wide screen lcd We best wait for the patch and hope there's an improvement of the fps all round. hold on i think it will be worth it OLDTIMER.

Hi grimtooth i remember them old days to tandy 16 kb no graphics comodore 64, atari 5t 520, pc 286,etc,etc and what about the wire frame graphics mental days. Hi Moon/Madmatt your proberly sick to death about forum members asking about the patch status but the question has to be asked. Will it still be the end of this month or has that changed. I bought a new computer to run this game as my old one was not up to it. New spec ACER ASPIRE 9301AWSMI laptop Amd turion 64 single core mk 36 2.0 ghz 512kb L2 cache 2 kb ddr2 667 memory Nvidia geforce go 6100 384 meg video vista home premium. The game run quite well with no shadowing enabled mostly all options on high settings apart from the shadows turned off. I love this game now i can play it but i hope the upcoming patch will will place this game were it belongs at the top of computer wargaming for many years to come. By the way ordered the boxed version when pre-ordering was first activated but nothing arrived as yet in the UK any news appricated best regards OLDTIMER

Hi Moon/Madmat any news on patch regarding the fix for frame rate improvements and if there is a fix could you release it so the people who purchased the full game and have the fps problem can at least play it. Game has been out over three weeks now thanks. Just a couple of notes of interest game runs very well on acer inspire 1500 laptop amd turion 64 dual core 1.6 ghz 1 meg ram ati radeon 1300x 128 meg video. on mostly high and medium settings Does not run at more than 1 to 2 fps at low or high detail settings but does not freez and loads perfect on a Packard bell easynote laptop amd 64 turion 1.8 ghz single core 1.5 gig ram ati radeon express 200m mobiliy 128 meg video Would appreciate some news keep up the good work regards OLDTIMER U.K

Hi guys just wondering im trying to get my head around the very bad frame rate on my amd laptop. Does anybody think the game will ever run on it or could it be a graphic fault in the program. Im asking this question because after 3 days of trying to tweek the game with varoius drivers all options turned to low on all settings i still can only get about 2 frames per second. Iv'e tried all the possible tweeks off the forum which i very much appriciate the help thats given but unless battlefront can cure the possible i think the game will sadly go on to the shelf. Hi yes i have the same problem about the same fps as you 1 or 2 fps im running amd turion 64 ml34 1.8 ghz 2 gig ram ati xpress 200 mobility 128 meg on a packard bell laptop 17" wide screen windows xp with new ati mobility driver and tried the omega 352 driver still no change i still think you should be able to play the game on lowest detail with at least 15 fps or more i can play other games quit well like f.o.w, company of heros, flight sims etc there must be a conflict some where i remember the same problem awhile ago with eric youngs squad assult that was a graphics driver fault i tried various drivers and got it to work very well we might have to get a new computer to run this baby all the other folks who can run the game hope you enjoy it a very sad OLDTIMER

Hi guys anybody out there running the game with 128 meg graphics and what fps are you getting. I wonder what 128 meg video cards the developers tested the game on and what fps they achieved at the lowest settings i hope the poor frame rates on some machines are a software related bug and i hope it could be sorted out in the full game

Hi packard bell laptop AMD TURION 64 MOBILE ML34 1.8 GHZ 2 MEG RAM 128 MEG ATI MOBILTY RADEON XPRESS 200 GRAPHICS ON THE DEMO AT THE LOWEST RES AND EVERYTHING TURNED DOWN TO MINIMUM DETAIL THE FRAME RATE IS SO LOW I DON'T THINK IT'S EVEN 1 1/2 FPS YOU CANNOT PLAY THE GAME I MUST BE THE LOWEST YET MUST BE MY CONFIGURATION I THOUGHT I MIGHT GET AT LEAST 12 FPS NEVER MIND OLDTIMER

Hi been playing pc wargames since 1986 ssi games and many others you name it i've played it but i must say that this baby looks fantastic. Ive pre-ordered it but i think my rig might not run it anybody out there know if my amd 64 turion mobile 1.8 ghz will do the job. It's single core but i don't know how it compares with other processors ie pentium 4 or amd athalon.
