Pre-release Reviews?

Guys, preview code went out to a few selected guys (simhq, armchair general, wargamer to name a few) only yesterday. The mass market websites didn't even get any yet. And these guys need to play, and then write up their previews. It will take some time before you see anything out there.

Granted it does if you have a hardcopy product, but what about the pure online gamesites. It takes one guy a few nights to play, take notes, grab screenies, compose and then post the article.

theBrit, point taken, but you're directing this at the wrong guy smile.gif Email [insert your favorite publication here] and ask them why it takes so long. Except for a few early copies, everybody else got theirs at the same time. Looks like some are quicker (more professional?) while others take longer.

By the way, the polish IGN is referring to is the fact that a lot (in fact, most) of the translations is still unfinished in the version the press got. You'll see this in some of our screens, as well. Polishing is best done after everything else is finished (from a developer point of view; marketing guys will tell you something else), which is why we're doing that right now. But the base engine with the countless tweaks which we did minus a few remaining bugs is done, and we'll be announcing the release schedule soon.
