edgars
Oh forgive me for posting this topic, cause i've searched... I have PowerBook G3 (Wallstreet). Few days ago i installed CMBB, but when launching it, it switches from original 1024x768 resolution to 800x600, and then the "800x600 error message" appears. In one topic i found in this forum, it was told that Classic Rave extension should be removed. I did that, but the problem persists. System details: PowerBook G3, 233 MHz 128 RAM, ATI Rage LT Pro video card. Mac OS 9.2.2.
Don't Panic
Try the following suggestion. 1) Quit CMBB first. 2) Remove CMBB pref in Pref folder in the System Folder 3) Make sure the screen resoultion is set for 1024 x 768 4) Then start up the game again. 5) The game should then use the screen resolution as set. Hope that helps. Cheers
edgars
Didn't work. One other strange thing is CMBB icon is shown as generic application icon even after rebuilding desktop.
Pzman
It could be a combination of things. 233MHz is ok for running CMBO, but might be pushing it for CMBB. I'm guessing that you have a 8MB VRAM video card (or less), which is also below the minimum specs.
