aittam Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 bingo! so if i well understand the submasks are not done with terragen, right? my question was very simple, in terragen once I generated the terrain, I tried to generate directly some child for the different type of terrain but i was unable to delimitate the different areas where one or the other had to be. So if now I undesrtand correctly you do them in photoshop or watherver other software and them you import them as child right? and for the detailed terrain, do you use the ones avaiable in game? aittam Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 problem: in photoshop (7 but I think is version indep) when I gave colors to areas selected with the magic wand these superimpose to the existing color instead of replacing it, well it worked for the blue but not for the others here my map, basically either in territory or ctf there should be two options or try a fast run in the channels that should be gravel/asfalt or try to get in the open, well there should be some trees at the end, the channel's good also to set up ambushes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
