poesel
I'm running Ubuntu. Sound is set to 'native'. If I use 'alsa' I have no sound at all. No error in the logfile and no core. DT just freezes - I have to kill it from the console to get back to X. I didn't have that problem with 1.2.6. ?
ClaytoniousRex
You might want to try using your distro's own openal library instead of the one bundled with DropTeam. Just remove all libopenal* in your DropTeam's lib directory and let's see if it works any better.
poesel
Yup, that worked, thanks. Only problem was that Ubuntu has a libopenal.so.0 while DT looks for libopenal.so.1. A symlink solved that. Now I can use alsa as sound source and sound and micro work fine.
ClaytoniousRex
Great. We really shouldn't bundle those libs at all. Ah, DLL Hell all over again...
