Anarkist Posted July 31, 2000 Share Posted July 31, 2000 Hey, whenever I press Alt+S in a game, it comes up with the saved game name, and I push ok after entering it. Is there supposed to be a "Mission Saved" text after the saving? Cause I can't load games. There aren't any in the "Saved Games" file in the CMBO directory!! MadDog0606 Posted July 31, 2000 Share Posted July 31, 2000 Are you running from a PC or MAC? I'm only familiar with the PC. Are you starting the executable of the game from the CD? Did you create a shortcut and have that shortcut using the executable from the CD? If you are running the executable from the CD then you will not be able to save a game because it will try to be saved on the CD and that will not work and you will not get an error message saying this (at least I'm preaty sure that's what will happen). You need to run the executable from the location the installer placed it on the HD. If your not running the game from the CD then the problem is beyond me because I don't have that problem with version 1.03. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jochen2 Posted August 1, 2000 Share Posted August 1, 2000 How is it with saving an existing game and try to load it in the editor? It doesn´t work anymore. (Version 1.03). Somebody wrote me in the "big" forum, that this should prevent from cheating in PbEM games. Is this true?? Thanks for any answers.
