CptWasp
In each artillery support interface square there is a small + (green or red); at right there are six dots (green or red). If I'm right the dots are the responsiveness from the current spotter: and the + sign? The manual doesn't mention it...
SgtMuhammed
I think Steve said that they once had meaning but that now they don't and he doesn't remember what they were supposed to represent.

Martin Krejcirik
The symbol on the left shows how suitable the spotter is (it's basically dependent on how 'far' in the OOB he is from the battery). But it is reversed, thick red X is the best, thick green + is the worst. 6 dots on the right show how 'busy' the battery is (they gradually turn red when the battery is firing).

So, if I understand, the red X means "great spotter", the green + "bad spotter"... very counterintuitive I think. And the green dots become red during the firing mission, from 1 to 6, progressively. Right?
thewood
The + thing is backwards! How did you find that out? I never even gave it a second thought, but may explain a few things I have observed.
Martin Krejcirik
CptWasp - not great or bad spotter as in experience, it's OOB related, it's like is the 82mm mortar in my platoon (red X = good), or in a different platoon (thin dot = average), or in a different company (green + = bad).
