Tactical training scenarios > Any recommendation

I am looking for basic scenario in order to practice basic tactics.

In order to vary tactics for these scenarios all type of supports should be available.

Each scenario should exist in day version and night version

Is there such a set of scenarios ?

Examples:

- Assault on isolated small buiding.

- Assault on isolated large buiding.

- Clear small village

- Clear smal town (high buildings)

- Clear field/forest (with/without trenchs, with/without hills)

Sounds like a great way to get used to the Editor.

I mean you wouldn’t need a bunch of AI plans (all you want them to do is stand and fight I guess).

Although I’m not some of these make sense. I’ve never seen a “smal” (small?) town with high buildings. Multi storey buildings tend not to be built in places with say 200- 1,000 people.

Anyway enjoy building them.

What forces do you imagine for Blue and Red side?

Squad? Platoon?

Infantry only?

Well I think he wants every option possible:

So Day/Night, all different sorts of weather, SBCT, HBCT, Tanks, Bradley, Styrker, Air, Arty ...

Vs every possible combination of OPFOR and in every possible terrain type.

Of course this will be a snap to whip up. smile.gif

All humour aside, I also think the training campaign is a good place to start.

The problem with working up some dedicated “tuned” scenarios is that as the game evolves they will play out differently as something that say worked in 1.03 doesn’t in 1.07.

So once you are comfortable with the training campaign, maybe the best option is to generate a QB (so you get random maps, times, etc.) and then as suggested, use the editor to adjust the forces involved.
