Schrullenhaft Posted December 27, 2002 Share Posted December 27, 2002 This is a problem with the Kyro cards under Win9x/ME (Win2K and XP don't seem to have this problem to my recollection). This thread includes some of the relevant registry entries to make. These entries turn of 'BitBlt3D' for CM. The name of the executable is important so make sure that you have the correct name for whichever version of CM you're trying to run. A lot of games have to turn off this feature to my knowledge, so it isn't really a bug with CM. It's a minor speed loss to get the text to appear correctly in the game. You will also notice some transparency problems in the game too. The Kyro drivers still aren't fixed in this regard (there are problems with other games too). There are some workarounds for this too, but they involve a larger drop in performance. Stripes Posted December 27, 2002 Author Share Posted December 27, 2002 Yeah thanks for the thread..I was there and tried to figure out what to do but its kinda beyond me...I do not know how to edit the registry...where is the file at that i need to edit...spent a couple of hours trying to figure it all out and had to give up due to frustration...can you give me a kinda walk thru and remeber that i have no idea what i am doing... Stripes Posted December 27, 2002 Author Share Posted December 27, 2002 Ah ok...hey gave it one more try and i figured it out...I feel so proud of myself....All i did was change the name of the regestry file to 'Barbarossa to Berlin.exe' and bingo...game works fine....whew thanks for the help!!!!!!!!
