Hellmut Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Hi all, Ok i went and bought the game.....guess what 1)Game loads 2)I select the resolution 3)Pick my scenario 4)Pick my team 5)Map loads 6)White boxes no text (no anti-aliasing + no anisotropic filtering) Ok i think, i will have a look at another way of getting rid of that. 7) look around map 8) game freezes 9) No amount of alt-tab , ctrl+alt+del will get me out 10) BSOD 11) "Windows has recovered from a serious error" ARGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Latest drivers etc.......no spyware etc.....all known fixes tried.............. No other game crashes, my computer runs like a dream. Have i wasted my money?? Philippe Posted February 7, 2008 Share Posted February 7, 2008 There are a couple of interesting posts about Vista in the CMC threads. One person seemed to suggest that the compatibility issue arose from particular combinations of Vista, certain models of cards, and certain drivers. Perhaps when everyone gets past the teething stage these issues will be worked out?
