Midnight Warrior
I had to reinstall CM on my computer and it won't reinstall. At 78% completion of installing CM (at loading WAV 00005006.wav) I get a dialog box that says " Please install disk 0 that contains the file data3.cab" What does this mean? Does it mean my CD is damaged? Can I order a replacement CD form BTS? ------------------ In War: Resolution In Defeat: Defiance In Victory: Magnaminity In Peace: Good Will Winston Curchill Moral to His History Of WWII
Schrullenhaft
Sometimes the installer has problems with some systems. More than likely there is nothing wrong with the CDROM. I'd suggest performing a manual install of CM (there are no compressed files on the CDROM). The standard directory that CM is installed to is C:\PROGRAM FILES\CMBO; so you'll need to create a CMBO directory under the Program Files directory. Once you've done that copy the entire contents (directory structure and all) of the CM CDROM to the CMBO directory you've just created. After that you'll want to patch to the latest version which is 1.05. Once you're done with that you can create a shortcut and place it wherever you want on your system. Once you've launched CM it will take you through a short configuration process of determining what resolution and refresh rate to run at (which will start and max out at your current resolution).
Midnight Warrior
Thanks for the tip. I tried it and I got the same error leading me to suspect that it is a bad CD after all. ------------------ In War: Resolution In Defeat: Defiance In Victory: Magnaminity In Peace: Good Will Winston Curchill Moral to His History Of WWII
