Drusus
I would like to know more about the restraints there will be for the Syrian forces in QBs. For example in CMAK the forces of differen nations are different only at the level of equipment and organization. At least I think they are. Is it going to be like that in CMSF? What I mean is that will it be possible to have an elite T72 crew that is as good as an elite M1A2 crew? Will there be commands not availabe for the Syrians? At least one more difference there is going to be is that in CMSF there is a lot better modelled command structure, so this gives the US forces an advantage. It could be interesting if you could do CMx1 style QBs where the difference would be only in the equipment. Not realistic, but QBs arent supposed to be. A quick teaser: What would happen if a Stryker company trained in the Syrian way would attack a US trained T72 platoon? Wouldn't it be nice to try that out?
MikeyD
In CMBB they gave the Russian side a big command hit for the first two years of the war to simulate effects of Stalin's pre-war officer purges. I'd bet money that BFC is going to assume that at the least command & control will be much worse for the Syrians than for the U.S. For example a Syrian officer might have to literally be within earshot of his troops to have proper control over them! BFC has repeated that they do not design in 'national modifiers' (über-Germans or cowardly Italians for example) but do factor in training, moral, etc. For a U.S. vs Syria game do I'd hope they don't just assume Syria=low moral and U.S.=high moral. The Syrians would (presumably) be fighting for the motherland. Unless Syria had blown up the Washington monument beforehand U.S. soldiers might be wondering what they're doing invading another country again.
