Holien
Will the new engine allow smoke to drift across the battlefield? How about mist over rivers obscuring assualts over river in early morning scenarios? H
KG_Panzerschreck
Good question. I was thinking the same thing my self the other day. I hope so.
jim crowley
At the risk of having my head bitten off: we have smoke in CMX1, you would think that it shouldn't be too difficult to have it drift acording to wind direction in CMX2. But then, what do I know?
JonS
Smoke does drift in CMx1, and I'm not talking about the top of the columns bending over in the wind. It seems that smoke and dust are conceptually anchored to the ground in CMx1, so generally stay where they are created. However, sometimes due to the lie of the land a puff of smoke or dust is created with no fround to anchor itself to underneath, and then it drifts away across the battlefield, looking a bit like a flak burst, though a different colour (white or brown instead of black), and obviously a lot lower.
