thewood
After TOW and then hearing the RTS talk about CMSF over the last few days I was looking for a reason to not like it. Instead, playing with CMSF the last few days has made a believer of me. Yeah a few time saving commands like Hull Down and a real Hunt command are needed, but I gotta tell ya when a game like this is playable on a laptop with a 16Mb video card, I am impressed. So my advice to anyone that can't play now...go on ebay, buy a 4 year old laptop for $200 and enjoy.

thewood
I have always said the death of PC gaming is the over complexity of todays systems and OS's. That's why consoles are beating PCs to death.

Kilroy Lurking
Yeah, I was worried that my (son's) Pentium D2.8 and Gforce 6200 would'nt handle it. (But the demo runs real good) Any one know if a graphically challenged Intel Macbook will run this? David This has been a good season for Lurkers
PrezCartman
Lol just don't use a custom scenario in a heavily built city with a dozen RPG teams and 3 companies of Strykers attacking, even on a good system it will hurt the speed a bit.
thewood
I'll just turn off units, buildings, trees, smoke, dust, sound, and elevations. It should run sweet then. btw, can you get FPS that negative numbers, or maybe even unreal.
