panzermartin
There something wrong with TCP/IP. From my experience host seems ok but guest is having multiple bugs like infantry not dismounting and generally not following orders, strykers disappearing while passengers stay behind hovering in mid air, invisible small arms and occasional laggy performance. I have tried it as host and guest on the interent and LAN as well. Anyone else experiencing these problems?
panzermartin
Bump..still trying with various hosts settings. The smaller the battle the better the results are.
Roter Stern
I've been playing TCP/IP since release - both Hosting and Joining - and have not experienced and abnormalities. Except for once when the Client’s reinforcement Strykers in "Something-something Ambush" scenario showed up invisible. But that sounds more like a graphics bug on his end.
KG_SSpoom
As guest in a multiplayer battle I also experienced Infantry refusing to dismount strykers. They were on a reverse slope and were asked to dismount. They wouldnt not for at least 5 minutes. 2 separate strykers 1 with Infantry the other with leader and mg squads. Eventually they did dismount in rapid sucession 5 or more minutes after order. The Strykers did not want to respond to any orders either during this time. Whether this is "order overload" or not I cant say. Is it possible that a residual move for the Strykers isnt allowing the Infantry to disembark? As soon as the Strykers started to respond the Infantry disembarked.
panzermartin
I get this bug in almost every battle. If pbem files are 14mb large then I suppose RT is even more bandwith demanding. Invisible strykers/small arms were encountered in a game as a guest in LAN too though.
thelmia
I'll help with this one! Are we doing something wrong? Seriously, it's NOT PLAYABLE. I have no one to play with anymore in my guild because of all the crashes and lag. I'm stuck with single player until it's fixed.
