Maple Tree Posted February 27, 2002 Share Posted February 27, 2002 I was deleting some old Quick Battles and Scenarios saved and I accidentally deleted the autosave which in turn deleted the 'delete button'. Schrullenhaft Posted February 27, 2002 Share Posted February 27, 2002 The 'delete' button is only available when there is an 'in progress' saved game. This can be either a saved game that has been named or an autosave. The autosave code in CM saves the game every so many minutes (I'm not sure how many). These games will appear in red/orange text in the scenario/operation listings and these are the files that you can delete within CM. If none of them are present (I can't remember if they have to be highlighted too) then the delete button won't appear. If you've deleted your autosave game, then it can't be 'resurrected' within CMBO itself. You'll have to go to the OS to undelete the file (though it may not be in the trash/recycle bin). At this point it would require some third party utilities such as Norton to recover the file (which can easily get overwritten in its deleted state). A new autosave file will be generated with your next game (I don't think that it will overwrite a previous autosave game in the scenario listings though). 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
