popllt
According to my experience, when sending a "pause" order to a squad which is moving, the squad could still perform "target" order. Using this microoperation, I won some battles with zero casualty. Targeting in the pausing state is important to me when microoperating. But sometimes, I paused a squad which was moving when they spotted the enemies, then I sent "target" order from the squad to the enemies, but the squad stood still doing nothing, even if the squad had clear LOF with the enemies. For example, in map AI Amarah, my squad sneaked from one room to another. When they spotted the enemies, the AI did nothing execpt keeping to sneak(all the process went all right ). Then I paused my squad, sent "target" order from my squad to the enemies manually, but my squad stood still with nothing to do. Finally, the enemies killed my squad members one by one. birdstrike
pic not working for me Did you check if you had issued the "Hide" command?
popllt
I'm sure that I did not issue the "Hide" command. I issued "pause" command when my squad was sneaking, then my squad stood still without shooting to the enemies in field of vision, even if the squad had spotted the enemies. Best Regard!
