pcelt Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 Yes I feel I should understand this from the manual but I have had no success in accomplishing it. I have just reached the first scenario (meeting engagement) where I have an attached platoon of T72s . But I have been totally ineffective in using the map to order them to move,form and fight with me. I am clearly missing some key aspect of the command system.Would someone who has succeeded in mastering the commands to get this platoon to act with my tank please explain the steps necessary. JudoHedgehog Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 If you want your tank to follow the orders you give on the map screen move to the gunner or TC position before giving the orders. Then open the map, click the preferred formation, then click the movement button and place a waypoint, then click open fire. It takes a second once you switch back from the map but your units should organaize into formation and advance you the waypoint you set. It took me lots of experimenting to get it to work as well.
