tshare
Can anyone tell me why some mines don't work. I was playing online last night and someone else on my team placed many mines. I then watched in amazement as the attacking team's thors and paladins rolled over them without any effect.

theIRONGIANT
OUCH: the mines were working last night, and i am so conditioned to ignore them.
Smeltz
Careful of the "Start-Up Mines" as I'll call them. Seems there are mine looking objects on the battle map that do nothing. The dropped mines however; seem to work. You can tell the "start up mines" by the fact that they are always by themselves. Dropped mines cluster. Just yesterday I was teamed with a player who actually used a Cutter to clear a path! That's right, someone used a Cutter! And oh, BTW, I blew up on a mine yesterday also. Neutrino 123
I think that the initial mines are now deployed in clusters as well, and randomized... Edit: Sorry, I didn't mean mines. I meant things that look like mines... [ September 18, 2006, 08:15 PM: Message edited by: Neutrino 123 ]
ClaytoniousRex
There was a bug that was causing some mines to be "left over" from one scenario to the next. These "extra" mines weren't really there so driving over them caused no damage. Fixed in 1.1.6.
