Wehner
In an older post, somebody asked for time amount needed to change a tank chain. I couldn't find the post now and decided to answer here. I asked my brother in law, who rode a marder at the german army (bundeswehr). He reconned that it took 2 hours annd four trained people to repair the chains/tracks of the tank. He, bbtw, lost the chain while trying to "drift" the tank. And, in addition, he "flattened" the rear wheels while falling with his tank backwards in a pit (nobody was hurt, fortunately).
gunnersman
I remember that discussion. Do a search with the subject heading "About the tank´s "stickyness" and throwen tracks..." It is has been archived apparently.
