Ministry
I'm a big fan of the now ancient M1A1 Tank Platoon! game from Microprose and this is definately bringing back memories of that venerable tank sim! There's just something about manual sighting and mowing down of infantry with the turret machine gun thats rewarding. That said, a few bugs/problems so far with the game. I have the latest ATI drivers installed but the game seems to freeze sometimes and the mouse stops working here and there. Also, the music I turned off - but it starts when the battle begins and I dont know how to turn it off - its killing me! The voices of my troops and crew seem somehow disjointed from whats going on around me. I hear them constantly saying "there they are!" when nobody is around. The campaign is definately where the action is at, having a blast dying over and over more or less!

It has one other verse comprised of the word "go!"
Madmatt
Yeah, give me a couple of hours and I will have my own personal (although unofficial) suggestions on how to remove some of those more annoying infantry sound samples! it doesn't appear to affect the game at all and, to me at least, it provides a much better playing environment. JudoHedgehog
From a quick look at the mission generator it looks like there are sound generation objects, I imagine you could remove those. I didn't dig too deeply because it was late and I wanted to get in another mission, so I don't know if those just generate ambient sounds or if they are responsible for all the noise being made by your infantry.
Madmatt
No, those are for ambient sounds, like machinery, dogs barking etc... I just posted my list of sounds you can "safely" remove to elliminate those annoying outside infantry samples. Madmatt
