Greywolf KERENSKY
Shouldn't Half Loop be able to counter a Half Loop ? Sound logical... far more than a VR countering a VR and nobody changing alt
bartbert
Dan will have to answer for the logic, but all I can tell you is that's the way it worked in the original card game, and so it got carried forward into the computer game.
Dan Verssen
In the very early designs of the card game, Maneuvering countered Maneuvering, and Half Loop countered Half Loop. The problem was the games would stalemate at a given position. By making those cards more offensive in nature with no reaction capability it made for more fluid dogfights were positioning was always being altered. tornado
I myself wondered why half loop didn't counter half loop. Dan's explanation makes very good logical sense.
Sixxkiller
I personally like it how it is as the enemy has to expose his ace card to beat it. Sometimes there has to be a way to win. Glad they didnt go with the regular card game rules on this one. -Ray
