PBEM hassles

I can't help but think that it's about time game designers gave a bit more thought to the trials and tribulations of PBEM-ing their games.

If you're playing a couple of different titles then saving files to different PBEM sub-directories can be a pain when you get them wrong, and having a massive lsit of PBEM files in a single directory is jsut a pain too.

somethign along hte lines of PBEM helper would be good built into games I reckon - a simple file management system that automatically archives old files so only the latest ones for each game are visible.

Been pushing for this one since CM came out.

As is, I just put them all in one folder, then delete old files when it gets too full. Not the end of the world, but a minor hassle.

Think Hubert could write a simple script that would update the file names though.

(Gamename)001 +1, that's all we need. ;)
