smithers128
On Barbarossa to Berlin The game plays fine and installs ok, BUT I cannot see any of the game menus, briefings, or any descriptions of the scenarios ? I assume that my video drivers are ok because I can play the game with no problems ........... Anybody seen this before or got any tips ?
BeWary
If you can't see the menus, how do you get into the game to play it? Anyway, check your FSAA settings (Full Screen Anti-Aliasing). Make sure it's either OFF or set to 4X.
Madmatt
What video card and drivers are you using? If its a Nvidia chipset (Geforce card) make sure you not using the 40.xx or higher beta drivers or if you are you will probably need to disable the FSAA settings in order to properly see the text/menu messages. Jard
I was using the 40.72 beta drivers to great effect in CMBB (FSAA and all, no problems whatsoever). Today I installed the 40.72 WHQL drivers and suddenly all the problems I saw happening to others began. If I choose 2x or Quincux. FSAA, my game won't start. If I choose 4x or 4xS, then the text disappears ingame. I've tried Alt+TAB and it works, but most of the time crashes the game at some point. And playing without FSAA, well... I was starting to like the visuals with it on, just doesn't look the same without. Maybe someone has a solution to this that has eluded me ?? Some kind of settings combination that makes all work fine. It seems to me that the solution is related to that seeing that ppl having similar configurations and drivers experience different things.
Guest Sgt. Emren
ALT-Tab works with the 41.03 drivers...
WWB
Best solution is to stick with the 30.8x drivers until nVidia gets their act together again. WWB
