How do people scout?

Recommended Posts

So what do people recommend for scouting? For naval, just suicide your crappiest unit? For land, do people use bombers? Just wondering what you guys recommend as the best way to scout your enemy.

Ideally your long range airplanes do alot of the scouting for you.

But in any other case I would use cruisers for scouting if you're playing the allies, since those germans got many subs smile.gif

As germany I'd not scout at all, but just lure the UK into some traps.

ROFLMAO! :D

Second time in two days - a very first

For me! LOL!

When I wuz in,

I NEVER did salute enny a' them

Sorts of... hanging back

100+ clicks from the action

Soldiers.

Never did found one what deserved it.

In fact,

The ONLY "officer" I gave more

Than a sort of... half-*ssed,

Half-raised, nonchalant "carry-on dude"

Kind of faux salute,

Was my First Sergeant.

I still think of him, now & then,

To this day.

Saved me two Article-15's, at least,

IE - told them ROTC shave-tails

To cool it and go find

Some rear-echelon slouch Cat

To nit-pick with.

In the East:

Air for germany, LR air if you can.

Cheap corps for USSR, best if they have little tech and stay at supply 5 so you can buy them back for less

In the Alantic:

Corps in transports if you can afford it.

LR carriers for the Allies, if not that then CN

Subs for the axis

In the West:

LR Bombers work wonders, bombers in general if you afford a few... for eather side.
