Edwin P.
Desert Dave, many thanks for the update re: Bombers. "And, it doesn't cost as much as it used to."Reducing the cost of a bomber will certainly have a big impact on its use, by both sides. In Sc1 it was just too expensive to justify buying, except if you were winning. Occassionally the SC1 AI did purchase a bomber but it never knew how to use it properly. Desert Dave
You completed the whole campaign? Interesting.....did you report any bugs? SM, Merely a minor one that didn't interfere with game play. And that was fixed By the Master Mage - lickety-split! Sure, she purred along like some high desert, Rough-coat mountain Cat Belly full of flesh & bone Of (... not QUITE as high climbing) mountain goat. Tho, That slant-eye Cat could NEVER have caught THIS sort of goat, no! Not in its feral-most feline dreams! Whether it be - high narrow trails or Them - Go! for Glory roads, down home Clocked so fine! Those tri-carbs like the 7 Sea tides, So's they would rip-flow and glow! EVEN... in tune to Each... phase of the Moon.

JerseyJohn
Condore, I'm not a pool conneseur but I've also heard things along those lines. I remember Willie Mosconi always being mentioned back in the 70s, when for a while pool was popular on television. Those two are about the limit of my professional pool view. In the caption I was really thinking about the fictional character as portrayed by Jackie Gleason. Who I remember hearing did all his own shots for the movie (I may be wrong on that). In any case, I think Gleason's portrayal was incredible.

JerseyJohn
DD, Will do. Assuming I see him between today and tomorrow. They're usually away on the weekends, as evidenced by that story he wrote. This time they might have him on a leash, I mean, literally!
Codename Condor
Gleason was outstanding in that movie i totally agree. He looked like a real pro. and newman was very good also he got hooked in pool in this movie and i think he and mosconi were playing from time to time, 15 times world champion, not a bad teacher at all... JerseyJohn
Codename Condor As I said earlier, I'm not much of a pool player, but I've always enjoyed watching the game. I've found some material on what you were saying earlier. The first link is somebody's website and includes some hate email the author received by outraged fans of the Fat Man. The second is an article on Fats I think you, and others, might enjoy reading. Very pleased to say the man was a fellow Brooklynite. I might have known. < On Minnesota Fats > < Rudolf Wanderone - Minnesota Fats >
