SpitfireXI
I recently donwloaded a bunch of battles and scenarios from the internet, and placed them in the battles folder. The weird thing is that only some of those battles and operations actually show up in the game. Perhaps some of these battles require a certain map but there was only one file when I downloaded them. Have any of you run into this problem?
Schrullenhaft
Which game are you playing, CMBO, CMBB or CMAK ? Is this the CDV or BFC (internet) version of the game ? Scenarios and operations have the map data within the file itself. There should be no need of downloading a separate map file (which is an option for Quick Battles in CMBB & CMAK). What is the exact folder you're copying these files into and have you closed down CM and relaunched it in order to see them ? Do you have more than one installation of this game on your hard drive ?
SpitfireXI
I am experiencing this problem in both CMBO and CMBB. I place the unzipped files in the battles/operations folder. Some of the single battles with specific maps are in CMBB, maybe that's part of the problem but they are not quick battles. Also, I have ensured that they have the correct file ending on the file to denote operation or battle. I have closed the program and reopend it many times and still have this occur. Is there a maximum number of battles I can have?
rune
What version of the games do you have? You have to have the latest, as the game will not see newer scenarios from an older build. Just a possibility. Rune
SpitfireXI
I bought both games from Battlefront four months ago. I don't think I have heard of any patches since then. Perhaps the scenarios themselves are based on older versions?
Madmatt
Make sure that when you unzipped the files they did not in turn create NEW directories under the Scenarios folder itself. The game will only show files at the root of that folder, not in any sub directories. You will probably also need to patch CMBB, even though you bought it a few months ago I believe the version of the CD is still 1.0 as we are not yet shipping 1.03 on disc (since it would not fit). See the download page for details. But you will more than likely need to download and install the 1.01, 1.02 and finally the 1.03 patches in order.
