Redwolf Posted August 9, 2002 Share Posted August 9, 2002 In very competive Combat Mission (read: maxed out purchases in laddergames), infantry-heavy forces with cheap fast tanks with HE-heavy guns (M8 HMC, Cromwell 95mm and friends) are superiour to any force centered around real tanks. If you walk in with lots of Shermans you lose anyway, Hetzers or not. You may want to consider my purchase rules (a Thread named "the quest for simpler balancing rules"), which put a simple (non pocket calculator) limit on underpriced units .
