Help!-BB to BO uniform mod

I would like replace the German tanker caps in BO w the one used in the BB demo. I do know how to install mods, however BB seems to use a different type of size/style that BO doesn't recognize. I have already swapped some of the demo's German unis to BO. Any help or feedback would be helpful, thanks in advance.

Just look at the file dimensions, and change the one bmp to the exact same dimensions as the one you want to replace. That should do the trick. It has to be exact, though.

I thought the German tanker cap in CMBO was hardcoded, though, so there is no appropriate bmp?

The BO Pzr hat is BMP 5030, which is shared by all other German Hat-wearing units. However the polygons are a different shape I'm pretty sure, so it probably won't look right.

The panzer cap in CMBO will definitely not look right, as the 3D model distorts the bmp in strange and mysterious ways, so that only a solid pattern will work.

Back when I didn't know what I was doing (with MODs, that is) I tried to "improve" the panzer cap, and the heartbreak involved was, well, heartbreaking.

Thanks for all the feedback I scaled the bmp from BB to the same dimensions as the BO 5030 bmp to no avail. All the posts helped me to conclude immediately it would not "stick" :-( I had a feeling it wasn't going to work, wishful thinking on my part. Thanks again boys, see you at the front!
