Those aren't counted at ALL, I don't think... If a tank kills 7 men in a squad and the other 5 run away, the tank only gets 7 kills. An unconfirmed kill gets no notion, but a confirmed wound does get noted as a casualty. CM doesn't calculate actual kills until after the battle... But given a 12 man squad that is depicted by 3 figures, and one figure is eliminated: does that convert to 1 casualty or 4 on the firing unit's kills stats? If you shoot at a 'infantry squad?' or something like that, and you later identify it, and it has 4 casualties, no one will get credit for those. Doug Beman Posted December 9, 2000 Share Posted December 9, 2000 I think, Louie, that you might be getting thrown off by the fact that the # of figures shown on screen is only of a general relation to the # of men in the squad. In a 12 man squad, each figure is "worth" 4 men. However, in a 10 man squad, each is "worth" 3.33 men. In these cases, the # of casualties that a squad suffers before a figure disappears changes. The first 4 casualties might subtract one figure, while the next 3 casualties subtract a second, and the last 3 eliminate the squad altogether.
