markshot
I have some strange graphics problems when I play v1.10. Although I think they also appear in other versions as well. The game has a number of pop ups which overlay the background (help key display, unit info display, orders display, and abort/quit prompt). Sometimes these pop ups are partially or wholey transparent and are nearly impossible to read. Does anyone have any idea what causes this? Thanks.
Guest Rob/1
don't know why but I have it happen when it foggy or snowing.
Schrullenhaft
It is most likely video driver related since this only occurs for so many users. What platform, video card and drivers are you using ?

Schrullenhaft
markshot - I'm not sure if the PowerDesk 5.30 drivers are part of this set of drivers, but here's a listing of the latest drivers from Matrox. A newer driver might address what you're seeing, but I'm not sure of that. I get transparent pop-up menus every-so-often, though it hasn't really been a problem for me. Matrox drivers (Win98 column, Millenium G400/G400 MAX row; v. 6.21.003, 12-22-00): http://www.matrox.com/mga/support/drivers/latest/home.cfm Rob - I'm not sure why you're seeing that problem on the Mac. Since you're using the built-in video on your Mac (iMac ?), I would have assumed that others would have seen this problem since you're using the latest drivers. As I told markshot, I get partially transparent pop-up menus too (but the other pop-up screens are usually fine). I'm not sure if there are variations on this between the various ATI chips on the Mac.
