ParaBellum
In a QB against the AI to test a few things I stumbled across something strange. On map were 3 T-34/85 Model 1944 and 1 Panther. After a few turns the Panther had killed all T34s. When I clicked on the Panther's kill stats it showed "3 unindentified vehicles" destroyed. But when I clicked on the knocked out tanks one was indentified as "T-34/85 Model 1944" while the others were indentified as "T-34"s. How comes the tanks are listed as "unindentified" in the stats window?
Guest Mike
I think that the kills are recorded as what they weer identified as when they happened, and the only updating is done in the AAR. so it doesn't matter that you subsequently identify the victim during the game. ParaBellum
Mike, you're right. After the battle the kills are fully indentified, thx. Still a bit odd... "Hans, what did you hit?" "That burning tank over there, but I don't know what type it is." "The T-34?" "Ah yes, we killed that T-34/85 Model 1944 with a veteran crew." "But then you know the type of the tank you killed?" "No." ...but I can live with that. [ December 05, 2002, 04:56 PM: Message edited by: ParaBellum ]
