lcm1947
I have been replacing a lot of these due to using the available and outstanding mods out there and a thought occurred to me. What actually happens to the orginal Bmp's when you override them.. Do they disappear, meaning that they aren't just moved somewhere else on the hard drive. I worry about space on my 20G. hard drive and was just worried about it. Would some kind soul let me know.
jhdeerslayer
They're deleted. Always good to back up your BMP's before replacing them since you may not like the new BMP. I back mine up onto a CD or a huge Zip file on my hard drive.
Schrullenhaft
Specifically they are over-written. Because you are copying into the BMP directory a file with the same file name it will overwrite the current file - in effect deleting it. There are several ways of backing up your BMP or WAV directories (depending on how much hard drive space you have). Using a Mod Manager may be a bit easier, but depending on what mods you use this may involve a bit of work if you like to swap mods around a lot.
Agua
Yes, just a strongly urged echo of the previous comments: once you arrive at a mod combination that you really think is about perfect, burn a CD copy of the entire .BMP folder.
