Driver question

Recommended Posts

Typically you should be able to do this. However, sometimes drivers can be significantly different from version to version. Installing an older driver over a newer one may result in certain files being left in the system and registry settings that make no sense to the older driver. These can sometimes cause problems, though that is rare. If it isn't too much of a hassle, sometimes it is better to run the uninstaller for the driver first, before installing the older driver.
