Neil Kemp Posted January 1, 2001 Share Posted January 1, 2001 Can anyone say why 60 mm motors do not fire smoke? Was it the case that smoke was not available in WWII or is there another issue? I know that I have fired smoke many times from the 60mm. Also, what about WP (White Phosphorous). Is there a reason why it does not appear in the game? Dogface Posted January 1, 2001 Share Posted January 1, 2001 My 60mm's fire smoke if they have it. not that they ever have very much, but i think it follows in the same reasoning as why 105mm & 155mm fire more smoke (than the 81mm), bigger round more smoke per round = better cover faster.. After much debate, it was decided to leave it out of the game. If you design a scenario you should be able to select the 60mm and get smoke rounds, though perhaps there may not always be smoke available in a QB.
