pford Posted August 30, 2000 Share Posted August 30, 2000 OK, after my posting non-bug bugs several times, I have a real one. It is kind of weak and unimportant and affect the game playing not one iota. I use GoMac which adds a Windows-like activity bar at the bottom of the screen. It allows quick launching of applications. Tiny icons of those programs that are frequenly used are displayed. To add an application, one just drags it to the bar. I wonder if GoMac is looking for a resource that isn't in the CM executable - possibly a smaller icon resource ? Can GoMac reference a different resource than the actual executable for its icon-buttons ? If so then you could probably tinker with ResEdit, extract the icon resource and shrink it down to a size that GoMac could use/reference. Using ResEdit, there are icon resources not present and in the ones present, the tiny icons in them are missing. I bet GoMac is using the tiny ones. Checking several of the other applictions show that the tiny ones are the ones being displayed. I just don't have time to draw them. My lack of artistic abilities have nothing to do with it.
