Michael Dorosh
I am having trouble locating any references on special insignia worn by the Airborne - what colour of insignia did these troops wear (both early and late war)? I found a great site for Navy ranks, if anyone else is interested - http://www.kotfsc.com/aircraft/sovietnavy1943ranks.htm

Michael Dorosh
Hmm, I did find that page via google, but nothing airborne related - mostly black and white photos, too, which don't help me. Thanks for the assist though - I really need to know the branch colour.
