Half-track mortars can now have an infantry leader spot for them much like standard mortars did in CMBO (the half-track has to be in the command radius). I'm not sure of the specifics (which commanders, etc.). On-board artillery still doesn't have indirect capability (since it's usually represented for the occasional direct-fire opportunities or as an over-runned arty position).
