MikeyD Posted October 9, 2002 Share Posted October 9, 2002 Different chassis. One was based on the KV-1 chassis, the other was based on the IS-2 tank hull. I believe the USU-152 had a taller superstructure, probably to compensate for the shallower hull. And late model ISU-152s have that nifty heavy mg on the roof, too.
