Charlie901
Can't find the command during quick battle. I can dig in infantry but cannot figure out what to do to dig in tanks. BTW I'm defending against enemy assault w/ fortifications.
Stalin's Organ
It's an option that is only available when constructing a scenario or operation (ref pg 35/6 of the manual). You can't do it in QB's at all.
Moriarty
Your ability to dig in tanks is determined first by whether the scenario designer set the parameter to allow vehicles to dig in. Assuming that you are allowed to dig in your vehicles, that would be done on Turn 1. In the set up phase, you put the vehicle where you want it. On Turn 1, you order it to dig in. Once dug in, it stays dug in. If the scenario designer did not set the parameter correctly, you're SOL. JaegerMeister
quote "Once dug in, it stays dug in." is that correct?...why cant a tank simply reverse out of dug-out and battle as normal?....seems a bit wrong, unless the scenario is literally depicting tanks that are out of fuel or 'frozen' in place. Dschugaschwili
If you can dig in your tanks (this is set by the scenario designer), you have to do so during setup by selecting the "dig in" option in the tank's command menu. A dug in tank will be hull down from any direction, but it will also be immobile for the entire battle. Dschugaschwili
