edgars Posted November 22, 2002 Share Posted November 22, 2002 In numerous occasions in CMBB i've seen the platoon's HQ tank being of lower experience than rest of the platoon. For example, in current QB, i have a T34 platoon: HQ tank is Conscript (with +1 morale and command) and both tanks in his command are Green quality. What is the logic behind it? That's when a veteran combat unit loses its officer (officer turn-over is usually high in combat units - damned snipers!) and get a new green officer fresh from officer training school. He's usually held in an appropriate ammount of contempt by his veteran soldiers. I don't know that CM actually models this situation, but a veteran unit with a green officer is not historically inaccurate, especially for early-war russian troops!
